Draft — under legal review

Preview text not yet reviewed by a lawyer; not a binding contract. Each country gets an approved version before launch.

In short

  • 16+ at least — 18+ where the law says so.
  • Helmet, one rider, 20 km/h in Oman.
  • Park in yellow/green — earn points, not fees.
  • Nothing is charged in the preview.

01Accepting the terms

By using the DOZ Mobility app or unlocking a scooter you accept these terms and the privacy policy. The rules of the branch you ride in apply; the app detects it from your location.

02Eligibility and age

Nobody under 16 rides in any branch, and we raise the bar where local law is higher (18+ in the UK and Brazil). We check age once, at your first unlock. No driving licence is needed in Oman.

DOZ fees above are proposals and are not charged in the preview. Government fines are separate and yours: e.g. AED 500 in Abu Dhabi for no-go zones, €135 in France.

05Prices and payment

In Muscat: 0.200 OMR to unlock, then 0.050 OMR per minute. You see the price before unlocking. In-app payment is not live yet and nothing is charged in the preview. Points cannot be bought, sold or cashed out.

06Faults and accidents

Check brakes and tyres before you go and report any fault in the app. In an accident, long-press SOS: your location is shared with Royal Oman Police 9999 and the meter stops. Rider insurance is not signed yet and will be announced before launch.

07Account suspension

We may pause an account for repeated bad parking, dangerous riding or points fraud — always with a notice, a clear reason and the right to appeal via support.

08Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of the country you ride in; for the Oman branch, the laws of the Sultanate of Oman. Any dispute is first handled amicably via support within 30 days.
