How much does a ride cost?
Unlock 0.200 OMR, then 0.050 OMR per minute in Muscat. A 15-minute ride ≈ 0.950 OMR. You see the price before you scan — no hidden fees.

Do points turn into free minutes?
Yes. Parking in a reward zone and finishing quests gives XP; every new level unlocks free minutes and badges. Points cannot be bought or sold.
How do I pay?
In-app payment is coming soon (card, Apple Pay, Google Pay). The preview never charges real money.
Are there monthly passes?
A «DOZ Pass» minute bundle is in the works; companies get employee plans on DOZ for Business.
Safety
What is the top speed?
20 km/h max, lowered automatically in busy areas like the Corniche and souqs. The scooter enforces it, not just the app.
Is a helmet required?
Yes on DOZ rides in Oman — company policy above the legal minimum. The in-app Safety Academy gives XP per lesson.
What if there is an accident?
Long-press the SOS button on the ride screen: it shares your location with Royal Oman Police 9999 and your contact, and stops the meter.
Does the game reward speeding?
No. We never reward speed or distance — only good parking, calm riding and going where people need a scooter.
Age & ID
How old do I need to be?
16+ in Oman (DOZ rule until official regulation). The limit follows the country branch you ride in.
Do I need a driving licence?
Not in Oman. We check your age once at first unlock; an ID photo is optional in the preview.
Parking & zones
Where do I park?
At yellow/black striped DOZ bays or inside green zones on the map — that earns +40 to +80 XP.
What if I park in a no-go area?
The app will not end a ride inside a red zone (highways, entrances, narrow pavements) and guides you to the nearest bay.
Why a photo at the end?
The photo proves the scooter stands upright and clear of the path. Good photos raise your «DOZ Trust» and unlock bigger rewards.

Where is DOZ live?
Muscat first: Mutrah, Qurum, Old Muscat, Madinat Al Irfan — pilot stage. UAE and Saudi are under study.
Do I pick my country?
No. The app detects your branch from your location (currency, language, rules). Not there yet? Tap «Notify me at launch».
