01Who we are
DOZ Mobility is a gamified e-scooter service by DOZ, starting as a pilot in Muscat, Oman. We are the data controller for what we collect in the app and on this site.
This policy explains what we collect, why, how long we keep it and your rights. The law of the country you ride in applies; the app detects it from your location.
02What we collect and why
We collect the minimum needed for a safe ride. We never sell your data and never use your location outside a ride.

Retention periods are draft proposals and are set per country law before launch.
03This website
The preview site sets no tracking cookies, analytics or ads. The early-access form sends nothing to a server in this build.
05Where your data lives
Each branch keeps data in its own country where possible: in Oman for the Oman branch, inside the EU for Spain, France and Germany. Reference law for Oman: Personal Data Protection Law (Royal Decree 6/2022); UAE Federal Decree-Law 45/2021; Saudi PDPL; GDPR in Europe.
06Your rights
- Access and download — a copy from Account → Privacy.
- Correction — edit your name and contacts any time.
- Deletion — your account is paused for 30 days so you can undo; then profile, ID and points are erased; receipts stay only because the law requires them.
- Withdraw permission — turn off location, camera or notifications in phone settings; the app keeps working with what is left.
07Minors
We do not open a riding account below the branch minimum age (at least 16 in every DOZ branch). If we learn a minor has an account we pause it and delete the data.
08Changes
If we change this policy we tell you in the app 14 days before it takes effect, and show the last-updated date at the top.
